High quality professional artists lead projects throughout the year, including camps, modules, and workshops.
Multiple art forms are studied throughout the year – and even in the course of one project: photography, shadow art, dance, guitar lessons, watercolor, mosaicking, theatre, poetry, percussion…the list goes on!
A look back on recent youth projects:
A percussion group that performs for a variety of community events!
Lead by Joseph Glenn. Available for ages 10 and up. Typically takes place in August and September. In 2016 the Bucket Band performed at Summer Sky, Rhythm & Ribs Fest, and CULTUREFEST.
A fusion of jazz and hip hop dance. Available for 8-12 year olds. Typically takes place in April.
A choir for students aged 6-16
Lead by Kent Brooks.
A monthly stage call for all poets & lovers of writing.
Hosted at Un Mundo Cafe. Open to all ages. Typically takes place once a month during the fall, winter, and spring.
A week long camp during the month of June introducing 13-18 year olds to multiple art forms and local and national professional artists.
