See Project Jericho artwork on display!
Altered Books created by 23 PJ teens are currently on display at the Clark County Public Library main branch. Youth participated in a two-day workshop led by professional artist Sarah Strong to recycle out-of-circulation-library books (donated by the CCPL) into works of art. The artwork theme is “Mending Hearts,” and youth worked to reclaim the books as their own and mend them with special paper, thread, ribbon, words, and embellishments. This artwork is part of a collaboration with the Mad River Mended Hearts Society, to help raise awareness of heart disease in a “Go Red, Springfield” Campaign.
