Have you ever wondered how paper is actually made?

Papermaking is an ancient art form that is used not only to make the stuff we use every day, but to create incredible and unique works of art. With the help of professional local artist Beth Holyoke, we’re going to be making our very own beautiful pieces of art! You’re gonna love it…

Join us for a week long residency to make your own paper…and, at the end of the week, you’ll put it all together into a handmade book. Because of the popularity of this residency, an additional week long session has been added. The first residency will be the week of April 14. The second residency will be the week of April 21. Shoot your own videos and learn to edit them on State-of-the-art Equipment!

In this five-week project, you’ll meet weekly with two professional local filmmakers to develop a PSA Film (Public Service Announcment) that will be used across the region by KnowHow2Go, an initiative to help teens like you learn the steps it takes to get to college. You get to work at a real
college facility, too, where you’ll meet the Director of Admissions and even have a behind-the-scenes tour. How Cool is that? It’s a wrap!

The EXODUS Hip Hop Dance Troupe members have been selected. Thank you to those who showed up to audition. Youth who did not make EXODUS will still be able to participate in Jericho Jazz. EXODUS will rehearse at the YMCA on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and will rehearse at Gary Geis Dance Studio on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
